Store Notifications & Alerts (Email & SMS)
Control transactional email receipts, low-stock warnings, and payout alerts
Teyweb Notification Architecture
Timely notifications keep your fulfillment staff responsive and reassure shoppers at every step of the order lifecycle.
Under Settings > Notification Settings (`NotificationSettingsPage.tsx`), you can customize which operational events trigger automated emails or SMS messages.
Merchant Order & Inventory Alerts
Configure real-time alerts dispatched to store owners and managers:
| Event Alert | Channel | Why It Is Critical |
|---|---|---|
| New Order Placed | Instant Email & Dashboard Sound | Alerts warehouse staff immediately so packing and fulfillment can begin without delay. |
| Bank Transfer Slip Uploaded | Instant Email | Prompts the finance manager to check the banking app and approve pending payment. |
| Low Stock Threshold Warning | Email Alert | Warns when an item or variant falls below 5 units so you can restock. |
| Refund Request Submitted | Email Alert | Notifies customer service that a buyer has requested an item return. |
| Payout Settlement Complete | Email Alert | Confirms that funds have been transferred to your commercial bank account. |
Customer Transactional Email Triggers
Teyweb automatically manages customer-facing transactional emails using high-deliverability email servers, ensuring messages never land in spam folders:
- Order Confirmation & Receipt: Sent immediately upon payment.
- Shipping Dispatch with Tracking: Dispatched when order status changes to "In Transit".
- Delivery Confirmation: Sent when order is marked "Delivered", inviting the customer to leave a verified review.
- Order Cancellation & Refund Notice: Dispatched if an order is cancelled or refunded.
SMS Gateways & Phone Alerts
In regions where customers may not check email regularly, SMS order notifications provide high visibility.
You can enable SMS Order Dispatch Alerts to send a short text message directly to the customer's mobile number (e.g. "Your order ORD-12345 from Teyweb Store has been shipped via GIGL!").
